Pierceton Elementary Students Learn About Lakes
The students in Kathy Wright’s class at Pierceton Elementary School have enjoyed a lake in their classroom this year.
Each year the students, with the help of students and staff from Grace College, get to learn about lake habitats and animals. This program is funded through Kosciusko Lakes and Streams and Paragon Medical.
The first graders enjoyed watching blue gill, catfish and crayfish grow all year. They have learned how to do their part in keeping our area lakes clean and healthy. The students want to give a big thank you to Paragon Medical and Grace College student Miles Barber for all they have done to make this possible.
