Accidents
Officers of the Syracuse Police Department recently investigated the following accidents:
Sunday, 2:55 p.m. South Huntington Street. Drivers; Virginia Freel, 42, East Benton Street, Syracuse; and James McCord, 82, EMS D10 Lane, Syracuse. Freel was backing from a parking space at CVS and failed to see McCord driving his vehicle through the parking lot. Damages: up to $5,000
Thursday, 2:45 p.m. Bowser Road and South Huntington Street. Drivers: Janet Weaver, 76, Washington Street, North Webster; and Jeremy Ciesialka, 26, East Cornelius Road, Syracuse. Weaver’s vehicle struck Ciesialka’s vehicle. Damages: up to $1,001
Thursday, 8:40 a.m. West Valleyview Drive and South Manor Drive. Driver: Robert L. Holderbaum, 70, EMS D21G Lane, Syracuse. Holderbaum was slowing to park for a garage sale when he looked over at something and struck a parked vehicle registered to Emmett Mitchell, Seventh Street, Butte, Mont. Damages: up to $1,001
Incidents
Officers of the Syracuse Police Department recently investigated the following incidents:
- Thursday, 3:47 p.m. Kimberly K. Boren, East Benton Street, Syracuse, reported the theft of fishing poles, fishing tackle, tools and tool box, a circular saw and child’s life vest stolen from the U Store It.
- Thursday, 10:45 a.m. Crystal Kelly, West High Street, Syracuse, reported the theft of a watch and prescription bills.
- Wednesday, April 3, 5:04 p.m. Bob R. Schisler Jr., West CR 200 North, Cromwell, reported his residence on North Huntington Street, Syracuse, was broken into and items destroyed.
- Saturday, March 30, 3:26 p.m. Frankie A. Blackburn, East CR 1250 North, Milford, reported the theft of a clam locket necklace with a pearl inside from Mountain Rose at the Shops at the Grand, Main Street.
Arrests
Officers of the Syracuse Police Department recently made the following arrests:
- Sunday, 12:41 a.m. William W. Julian, 47, North CR 925E, North Webster, arrested for operating a vehicle while intoxicated. Julian was stopped for a traffic violation when police found him to be intoxicated. Bond: $555.
- Thursday, 9:13 p.m. Andrew C. Sawyer, 24, Railside Drive, Syracuse, arrested for possession of drug paraphernalia. Police were called to the Railside Drive residence for a possible fight. Bond: $355.
