Warsaw Man Charged With Sexual Misconduct
Charges of felony sexual misconduct have been filed against a Warsaw man who was located in the Super 8 motel with a 14-year-old girl.
Christopher Allen Jr., 33, of Warsaw, was taken into custody Monday after Warsaw Police were called to the motel by the girl’s grandfather. Police say the grandfather walked in on the girl and Allen engaged in a sexual act.
Warsaw Police interviewed the girl and learned that on several occasions just within the past month, the suspect had sexual intercourse with her at various hotels and other locations in and around Warsaw. An interview with the suspect also confirmed the encounters.
Allen in charged with two counts of class B felony sexual misconduct with a minor. It is illegal in Indiana for any child under the age of 16 to consent to any sexual activity. The charge of child molestation occurs in cases where the child is under the age of 14.
Allen was booked into the Kosciusko County Jail and is being held on a $10,000 surety bond. The case remains under investigation.
