Area Police Reports
Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Department
Officers of the Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Department recently investigated the following incidents:
- Friday, March 29, 12:14 a.m. A theft was reported when a victim stated that Christina Joy Kreider of Winona Lake had stolen medication and damaged a vehicle that belonged to the victim.
- Friday, March 29, 3:35 p.m. Aaron Phillips reported he was contacted by a suspicious person regarding a false loan.
- Friday, March 29, 7:23 p.m. A male and female reported being the victims of a a protective order violation.
- Friday, March 29, 10:40 p.m. Adam Slone Jr. informed police of a hit and run accident at 1950 E. 300 N. and 1728 E. 300 N. that destroyed two mailboxes.
- Saturday, March 30, 2:05 p.m. Police were informed of an alleged burglary when a female reported her medication was missing.
- Saturday, March 30, 1:16 p.m. Jack Holderbaum reported the discovery of a bullet hole in his mother’s shed.
- Saturday March 30, 8:59 p.m. A female reported being the victim of harassment.
- Sunday, March 31, 12:09 a.m. Police received a complain of loud music at 3699 N. 175 E. Lot 162. Upon arrival it was determined that several subjects under the age of 21 were consuming alcohol.
- Sunday, March 31, 9:57 p.m. Police observed a silver mini van drive off the roadway at 100 East/Levi Lee Road. After initiating a traffic stop it was discovered the passenger was under the influence of alcohol and three passengers were charged with illegal consumption of alcohol by a minor.
Warsaw Police Department
Officers of the Warsaw Police Department recently investigated the following incident:
- Friday, March 29, 11:17 p.m. A female victim reported criminal mischief upon the discovery of damage to her vehicle from an unknown object.
- Friday, March 29, 7:54 p.m. Martin’s Supermarket reported two shoplifters in the store. James Salmons and Alexandra Krizan were taken into custody and transported to the Kosciusko County Jail.
- Saturday, March 30, 3:06 a.m. A female was admitted to the Bowen Center for a 24 hour emergency detention.
- Saturday, March 30, 12:23 p.m. Phyllis Wright reported found property upon discovery of a 14kt gold wedding band in the parking lot of a local restaurant.
- Sunday, March 31, 3:47 p.m. A resident in the 400 block of South Detroit Street reported the rear door being kicked in at the residence.
- Sunday, March 31, 6:30 p.m. Police arrested Linda Long on a warrant out of Kosciusko County.
- Sunday, March 31, 6:38 p.m. K-Mart reported one adult female shoplifter, Donnelle June Reed of Warsaw, who was arrested for theft and resisting arrest.
Winona Lake Police Department
Officers of the Winona Lake Police Department recently investigated the following incident:
- Saturday, March 30, 9:18 p.m. Police arrested Clarence JD Baker for the possession of less than 30 grams of marijuana.
- Sunday, March 31, 6:37 p.m. Police escorted a suicidal subject to the Bowen Center.
- Sunday, April 1, 3:18 a.m. Police arrested Reuben Jesse Delion for illegal consumption of alcohol by a minor.
- Sunday, March 31, 8:58 p.m. Police arrested Nickolas G. Forkner on an outstanding warrant.
