Wawasee Scratches Tuesday Events, More
SYRACUSE — Snow has again delayed plans to open the spring sports season at Wawasee.
Lingering snow on the ground, along with cold temps, have put the kibosh on Tuesday’s home softball game with West Noble and the road baseball game at Bethany Christian. The JV softball game at West Noble for today was also scratched. The Bethany game will be made up Saturday, April 27, as part of a doubleheader that will begin at 9 a.m. in Waterford Mills.
Baseball also took the liberty to cancel its remaining games this week. The trips to Wabash Wednesday and Manchester Thursday for the varsity club have been called off, and the JV home game Thursday against Manchester was also scrubbed. No make-up dates have been announced for any of these games.
Softball have a game scheduled Thursday at Elkhart Central. Girls tennis are also slated to open its season Thursday hosting Central Noble.
