Hobart, Ind., based Luke Oil will be continuing an aggressive growth strategy in 2013. In addition to growth in their wholesale, transport and car wash divisions, Luke anticipates adding at least six new retail convenience store sites in 2013 which will generate over 40 career opportunities in the Northwest Indiana job market.
Through their Mission Statement, “To consistently provide solid growth opportunities for all partners and associates who qualify,” Luke continues to provide career opportunities for management and entry level positions alike.
Established in 1967 in Hobart, Indiana, Luke is one of Northwest Indiana’s fastest growing family-owned and operated convenience store chains. Luke has been a staple to Northwest Indiana, never relocating, staying loyal to Northwest Indiana and its institutions. Through this expansion, Luke will be adding retail sites in Hobart, Crown Point, Highland, East Chicago, Lafayette and other communities in Northwest Indiana throughout 2013. “This expansion allows us to introduce new people to the opportunities and experiences within our stores, allowing us to fulfill our Mission Statement,” Tom Collins II, Vice President of Luke Oil, stated.
Each new retail site employs between 8-10 employees with pay starting above minimum wage. “We are excited about our growth plans and the ability to continue to provide career opportunities to those in Northwest Indiana who have remained loyal to us throughout the years,” Tom Collins II said.
