Pearl J. Anderson
Pearl J. Anderson, 81, of Wakarusa, Ind., passed away at 8:05 a.m. Tuesday, Feb. 12, 2013, following a short illness.
She was born on Sept. 2, 1931, in New Ulm, Minn., to Albert and Clara (Riedesel) Beckmann. She attended Lamberton High School in Minnesota. She married John M. Anderson on July 8, 1961, in Fairmont, Minn.
She worked as a homemaker and also served as a nurse’s aide, Dental Assistant and helped with Pediatric Home Care. They moved to Wakarusa from Chaska, Minn., in 1994. She was a member of the Bible Baptist Church in Wakarusa.
Pearl is survived by her husband, a daughter: Mary (Michael) Easton, Wakarusa; two sons: Bill (Barb) Anderson, Cadillac, Mich.; Matthew (Rachel) Anderson, Kinross, Mich.; 11 grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and a sister: Fern Larson, St. James, Minn.; and a brother: Dietrich (Kelly) Beckmann, Brookfield, Wis.
She was preceded in death by three brothers: Perry, Cecil and Carl Beckmann; and three Sisters: Eunice Anderson, Thelma Schroeder and Lola Blasing.
Visitation will take place at 2 p.m. to 6 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 17, at Thompson-Lengacher and Yoder Funeral Home in Wakarusa as well as from 9:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. Monday, Feb. 18, at the bible Baptist Church, Wakarusa. Funeral services will take place at 10:30 a.m. Monday, Feb. 18, at the church. Pastor David Harper will officiate. Burial will be at Olive Cemetery.
