Warsaw Man Charged With Child Porn
Computer contracting led to a police investigation that resulted in felony child pornography charges against a Warsaw man.
Adam Christopher Snyder, 28, 115 EMS B48 Ln., Warsaw, is accused of storing photos and videos of child pornography on his computer’s hard drive.
The investigation began when Snyder contacted a freelance computer specialist to remove the hard drive from a computer. The freelancer found the images and videos and reported it to the Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Department.
Detective Lt. Todd Sautter was assigned to the case. According to a probable cause affidavit, a search warrant was obtained and the computer was sent to the U.S. Secret Service on Feb. 7 for a forensic investigation. Secret Service agents discovered the images of child pornography that also included adult men having intercourse with infant children.
During the investigation, Snyder allegedly admitted to being in possession of the pornography and said he knew it was illegal.
Snyder was arrested Friday and charged with child exploitation. His bond was set at $5,000.
