Kathleen ‘Kathy’ A. Carper
Kathleen “Kathy” A. Carper, 55, of Etna Green, Ind., passed away at 4:49 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 7, at Lutheran Hospital, Fort Wayne, Ind.
She was born Dec. 24, 1957, in Warsaw, Ind., to Glenn D. and Edith (Blomeyer) Carper. She graduated from Triton High School in Bourbon, Ind., in 1976.
Kathy worked at Biomet Inc. for 30 years and most recently was a quality inspector. She enjoyed photography and woodworking; loved and nursed to health all kinds of animals; she was all about her family and would do anything for them; she was Rhya’s best friend and each evening she called her mom to be sure she was ok.
Kathy is survived a daughter: Rhya (Mike) Walters, Tippecanoe, Ind.; three grandchildren: Jahi, Madison and Arianah; her mother: Edith Carper, Warsaw; two brothers: Ronald (Gloria) Carper, Noxon, Mont.; and Jerry (MaryLou) Carper, Indianapolis, Ind.; two sisters: Linda (Bill) Brigham, Fort Wayne; and Debbie Carper, Warsaw.
She was preceded in death by her father: Glenn D. Carper.
Visitation will be from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 10, at Titus Funeral Home, Warsaw. The service will be at 11 a.m. Monday, Feb. 11, at the funeral home with Pastor Bob Jarboe. Burial will be in Oakwood Cemetery, Warsaw, at a later date.
