Jackson Saluted For Stellar Play
WINONA LAKE – Juaneice Jackson picked up her third Player of the Week award in the past month and second from the Crossroads League after another outstanding week for the Grace College women’s basketball team.
In addition to reaching a personal milestone last week, Jackson continued her torrid offensive pace by averaging 29.5 points per contest in two Grace victories.
Her 30 points against Spring Arbor on Wednesday put her over 1,000 career points (15th Lady Lancer in history).
Jackson, a junior guard from Gary, made 50 percent of her field goals for the week, including 14-of-18 from the foul line, to go along with 5.0 steals per game.
Since Jan. 1, Jackson has averaged over 23 points per game to lead the Crossroads League. She was won league Player of the Week honors twice (Jan. 14, Feb. 4) and was the NCCAA Player of the Week on Jan. 22.
