Triton To Honor Yeo
BOURBON – Triton High School will honor Clay Yeo on Feb. 12 for his nomination as a McDonald’s All-American.
Yeo, a senior standout and Indiana All-Star candidate for the Trojans, will be saluted following the junior varsity game versus Rochester at Triton on Feb. 12.
Yeo, a 6-6 guard, is one of 814 seniors nationwide nominated to be chosen to play in the annual McDonald’s All-American game. The rosters of 24 boys and 24 girls will be announced on Feb. 14.
Yeo, who has signed to play at Valparaiso University, is averaging 28 points-per-game for coach Jason Groves’ team which is 10-5 on the season. He recently became the all-time leading scorer in Triton High School basketball history, surpassing Ashli (Senff) Faulkner).
The McDonald’s All-American games will be played April 3 at the United Center in Chicago. The girls game begins at 6 p.m. (CT) with the boys game at 8:30.
