H. Albert Earl
H. Albert Earl, 69, of 7474 W. CR 100N, Warsaw, Ind., died at 5:30 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 29, 2013, in his residence. He was in declining health since October 2012.
He was born Jan. 17, 1944, in Cumberland Gap, Tenn., to Jack and Edith R. Stanifer Earl. On Nov. 22, 1964, in rural Kosciusko County, he married Jennie Lou Lee, who survives.
He lived in Kosciusko County since 1955, coming from Claiborne County, Tenn. He and Jennie shared 49 years together.
He worked at Creighton Brothers, Warsaw, as a truck driver for 15 years. In 1973 he went to work at Beachwood Truss, Atwood, and worked as plant manager until his retirement in April 2006. He then started to work at the Earl-Grossman Funeral Home, Argos, and Earl-Love Funeral Home, Akron, with his son and daughter-in-law.
He was a member of Warsaw Wesleyan Church, Warsaw; Atwood Lions Club, where he served as president in 2002-03; the Nappanee Raceway; and the International Trotting & Pacing Harness Racing Association.
Also surviving are his children: Shawnee (Mark) Hughes, Mentone, Ind.; Alan (Luella) Earl, Argos, Ind.; Angela (AJ) Himes, Atwood, Ind.; and Amie Rodgers, Warsaw; grandchildren: Derek and Patrick Hughes, Brandy Veach, Joshua and Alex Earl, Kristina and Michael Ammerman, Lillie Collins and Autumn Rodgers; great-grandchildren: Tyler and Grady Veach; brothers: Don (Debbie) Earl and Ray (Becky) Earl, all of Warsaw; and Ron (Margarette) Earl, North Las Vegas, Nev.; and sisters: Betty Smith, Fort Myers, Fla.; and Judy (Jim) Fleming, Jane Earl and Pat (Terry) Welker, all of Warsaw.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Visitation will be from 3 p.m. to 8 p.m. Friday, Feb. 1, at Warsaw Wesleyan Church. Services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at the church and officiated by the Rev. Gale Janofski. Burial will be in Harrison Center Cemetery, Etna Green, Ind.
