Triton Ladies Mash Manchester

images copyNORTH MANCHESTER – The Triton girls basketball team bounced back in a big way Tuesday night.

Shana Anderson canned a game-high 20 points as the Trojans defeated host Manchester 58-34 in a non-conference contest.

Triton, which lost 80-36 to Class 1-A No. 2 Oregon-Davis Saturday night in the title game of the TCU Bi-County Tournament, outscored the hosts 19-5 in the second quarter to take control of the game.

Taylor Hatfield scored 13 points and Kylie Mason added 11 for the Trojans, who improve to 14-5.

Kayla Flack led Manchester, which drops to 6-12, with eight points.

Triton hosts Northern State Conference foe Jimtown and Manchester plays at Three Rivers Conference opponent Tippecanoe Valley Saturday night.
