Frosh Tigers Fall To Concord
DUNLAP – The Warsaw boys freshman basketball team dropped a close one Thursday night at league for Concord.
The Minutemen came out on the winning end of a 30-26 final in the Northern Lakes Conference contest.
Riley Rhoades led the frosh Tigers with eight points and 10 rebounds. Tyler Packard and Paul Marandet each scored six points for Warsaw. Marandet also had five assists, while Ben Linky had three points and two steals and Luke Wilson three rebounds, a steal and an assist.
Warsaw also got strong play from the quartet of Caleb Garner, Matt Anthony, Lamain Rucker and Xavier Lynch off its bench.
Warsaw drops to 12-3 overall and 4-1 in NLC play. The frosh Tigers play at Fort Wayne North Side Tuesday at 6:30 p.m.
