Davidson, Taylor Lead Warsaw Win
WARSAW – The dynamic duo of Spencer Davidson and Zach Taylor paced the Warsaw boys swim team to another win Thursday night.
Davidson and Taylor each won a pair of events as the host Tigers topped Bremen 112-74.
Sophomore Davidson won the 100 butterfly with a time of 54.21 and also took first place in the 100 breaststroke race with a time of 1:01.68. Davidson also teamed with Jayden Parrett, Caleb Snyder and Matt Wildman to win the 200 medley relay race in a time of 1:43.85.
Freshman Taylor captured first place in the 200 IM with a time of 2:09.50 and also won the 500 freestyle in a time of 5:10.74.
Parrett won the 100 backstroke race in a time of 54.88 and the foursome of Wildman, Andrew Thrasher, Mac Pelo and Ethan Cook won the 200 freestyle relay race in a time of 1:37.62.
Coach Nate Long’s team, now 11-1 on the season, will take part in the NLC Championship Meet scheduled for Jan. 24 and 26 at Concord High School.
