Warsaw Christian Wins KC Recycling Contest
This morning in chapel, students at Warsaw Christian School found out they won the KC Recycling Shoe Drive that was held in November.
The student body won a blue (school color) recycled chair shaped like a hand. The chair was presented by Shelly Heckart, education coordinator for KC Recycling.
Students collected 250 pounds of shoes and won the contest for Kosciusko County. All together 3,873 pounds of shoes were collected for the county through the elementary schools.
Warsaw Christian School would like to thank Sue Studebaker, director of KC Recycling, for the efforts in helping “old shoes find a new pair of feet.”
