AKRON – A strong second-half performance enabled Rochester to pull away for a win Saturday night at Tippecanoe Valley in conference girls basketball action.

The Zebras outscored the Vikings 32-19 in the final half to post a 64-41 Three Rivers Conference win.

Breanne Paulik scored a game-high 15 points to lead four players in double figures for Rochester, which improves to 9-7 overall and 3-2 in the TRC. Karli Murphy had 11 points for the Zebras.

Connor Fraser led Valley with 10 points. Courtney Newsome scored nine points, Cara Hoffman eight and Caylie Teel six for the Vikings, who drop to 5-10 overall and 2-3 in league play.

Valley plays at Southwood Saturday. Rochester hosts North Judson Tuesday.
