Brittany N. Arceneaux
Brittany N. Arceneaux, 13, of Akron, Ind., passed away Friday, Dec. 21, 2012, in an automobile accident in Wabash County with her father, J. LeeRoy Arceneaux.
She was born March 25, 1999, in Rochester, Ind., to J. LeeRoy Arceneaux and Tina (Montague) Alspaugh. She was an 8th grade student at Tippecanoe Valley Middle School.
Brittany was in the Tippecanoe Valley Middle School Band where she played the flute. She liked to draw and was a very artistic person, she also liked to go swimming in the summer time. She loved all kinds of animals, especially her cat. She loved doing hair and makeup for any of her friends that would come over.
She is survived by her mother and step-father: Tina (Tim) Alspaugh, Akron; two brothers: Derek Arseneaux, who is serving in the U.S. Air Force; and Tyler Arceneaux, Akron; her maternal grandmother: Judy Montague, Akron; paternal grandmother: Rosabelle Arceneaux, Rayne, La.; and several aunts, uncles and cousins; and her step-grandparents: Guy and Nancy Alspaugh, Warsaw, Ind.
She was preceded in death by her father: J. LeeRoy Arceneaux, Dec. 21, 2012; her maternal grandfather: Gene Montague; and her paternal grandfather: Herbie Arceneaux.
Visitation will be from 3 p.m. to 8 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 26, at Hartzler Funeral Home, 305 W. Rochester St., Akron. Services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Thursday, Dec. 27, in the funeral home with Pastor Terry Canfield. Burial will follow at Akron Cemetery.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Tippecanoe Valley Middle School Band.
