Patricia A. Walton
Patricia A. Walton, 72, of Paloma, Ill, died at 12:45 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 8, 2012, at Blessing Hospital in Quincy, Ill.
Born Jan. 23, 1940, in Quincy, Patricia was a daughter of Lewis R. and Arlene N. Ault Berry. She married Ron Walton on June 7, 1957, in New London, Mo. He survives.
Mrs. Walton was a former worthy matron of the Liberty Eastern Star. She had served as a room mother for PTA, was a Cub Scout Den mother and also served as a Brownie leader. She was a member of the Coatsburg/Paloma Lioness Club.
Patricia was a devoted wife, mother, daughter, grandmother and great-grandmother who cherished the time she spent with her family.
Survivors, in addition to her husband, are a son: R. Scott Walton (Linda) Walton, Quincy; two daughters: Joni L. (Dale) Truex, Atwood, Ind.; and Kelly M. (Randall) Lummer, Camp Point; seven grandchildren: Amber Hill, Adam Walton (Tosha), Cory Truex (Julie), Kristen Pruitt (Brandon), Maj. R. Arron Lummer (Melinda), Eric Lummer (Misty) and Evan Lummer (Angela Young); 15 great-grandchildren located in Illinois, Indiana, Alabama, Florida, South Carolina and Washington; her mother: Arlene Berry, Quincy; and a brother: Michael (Barbara) Berry, Williamstown, Mo.
She was preceded in death by her father and two sisters: Joyce L. Berry and Trudy F. Dolbeare.
Cremation rites will be accorded and private family services will be held at a later date.
