She was born May 19, 1926, in Pierceton, Ind., to Alonzo and Orlue (Atchison) Curtis. On Sept. 4, 1946, Marjorie and Merrill D. Hostetler were joined in marriage in Nappanee, Ind.
A homemaker, Marjorie also worked for Zimmer Inc. in the packaging department for 10 years retiring in 1987. She was a lifetime Kosciusko County resident and was a member of the Packerton United Methodist Church.
She is survived by two sons and a daughter-in-law: Terry (Mary) Hostetler, Warsaw; and Gary Hostetler, Wynnewood, Okla.; three grandchildren and their spouses: Marcia and Brian Rhoades, Warsaw; Safah and CJ Urbanek, Davis, Okla.; DeDe Lynn and Darin Dankelson, Highland, Mich.; six great-grandchildren: Riley, Jack, Jack, Peter, Jacob and Haley.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 63 years: Merrill Hostetler; a grandson: Justin Hostetler; as well as seven sisters and three brothers.
Visitation will be from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. and 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Friday, Dec. 14, in Titus Funeral Home, Warsaw. The service will take place at 1:30 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 15, in the funeral home. Pastor Rick Sprung and Pastor Bill Wood will officiate the service. Burial will follow in Hillcrest Cemetery, Pierceton.
