Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Department Reports
Accidents
Officers of the Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Department recently investigated the following accidents:
- Sunday, Dec. 9, 6:02 p.m. North Old 15 and East Mock Road, Milford. Driver: Kyle T. Henson, 27, West 1100 North, Milford. Henson told police he drove off the road and struck a utility police. He said he went off of the road to avoid striking another vehicle that pulled into his path. No other vehicle was located at the scene. Henson complained of back pain and was cited for driving while suspended. Damages: up to $25,000
- Saturday, Dec. 8, 9:36 a.m. South SR 25, Warsaw. Driver: Cora L. Warner, 19, West Center Street, Burket. It appeared the passenger side front blew out causing the driver to lose control, leave the roadway and strike several trees. Driver was unhurt. Damages: up to $10,000
- Saturday, Dec. 8, 6:10 p.m. Pierceton Road, Pierceton. Driver: Rodney C. Brehany, 46, South Country Club Road, Warsaw. Driver struck a deer. Damages: up to $5,000
- Saturday, Dec. 8, 6:45 p.m. North 100 East and East 250 North. Drivers: Trevor W. Miller, 20, North 450 East, Warsaw; and Rawaleigh D. Myers, 28, South Smalley Lane, Claypool. Miller was northbound on CR 100 East attempting to turn west onto CR 250 North and pulled into the path of Myers, who was southbound on 100 East. Myers complained of body pain. A passenger in Myers vehicle, 5-month-old Mayleigh Myers, had no visible injuries. Damages: up to $10,000
- Friday, Dec. 7, 8:08 a.m. West Old Road 30, Warsaw. Drivers: Kelsey R. Applegate, 19, Tippecanoe Drive, Warsaw; and Kenneth D. Hurne, 31, Kuder Lane, Warsaw. Applegate was westbound on Old Road 30 and rear-ended Hurne’s vehicle, which was stopped waiting to make a right turn. Damages: up to $10,000

Officers of the Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Department recently investigated the following incidents:
- Dec. 9, 8:29 a.m. Joel Shumaker of West 250 South, Warsaw, reported criminal mischief.
- Dec. 8, 12 a.m. Mindy Nine of Warsaw reported missing medication.
- Dec. 8, 2:49 a.m. Officers were called to a home on Cambridge Drive in Warsaw where an intoxicated male was found laying on the living room floor.
- Dec. 8, 11:13 a.m. Jeremy Marvel of Cambridge Drive, Warsaw, reported a criminal mischief.
- Dec. 8, 12 a.m. Lamar Davis of North Webster reported the theft of an exterior air conditioner condenser.
- Dec. 7, 10 a.m. Faye Lilly of Pierceton reported a criminal mischief/vandalism to a vehicle.
- Dec. 7, 9:01 p.m. Noe Ybarra of South East Channel Road, Warsaw, reported a burglary to his residence.
