No. 3 Northridge Bests Warsaw
WARSAW – A powerful Northridge boys swim team splashed past Warsaw 124-61 in Northern Lakes Conference action Thursday night.
The No. 3 Raiders won 10 of 12 events, including all three relay races, in winning the league meet at WCHS.
Sophomore Spencer Davidson and junior Dean Katris were each victorious to lead the Tigers. Davidson won the 100 butterfly race with a time of 55.61, while Katris took first-place honors in the diving competition with a score of 217.65 points.
Freshman Seth Cripe, junior Jonathan Stoller and senior Austin Flager each were double winners to lead Northridge. Cripe won the 200 freestyle (1:50.02) and 500 freestyle (4:59.07) races, while Stoller topped the field in both the 200 IM (1:58.27) and 100 breaststroke (1:00.63) and Flager won the 100 backstroke (52.65) and 50 freestyle (21.46).
Jayden Parrett turned in a pair of second-place finishes for Warsaw. Parrett was runner-up in both the 50 freestyle and 100 backstroke races. Davidson was second in the 100 breaststroke and Zach Taylor second in the 200 IM for the Tigers.
Warsaw, now 1-1 in the NLC, travels to league foe Goshen Saturday morning.
