David D. Lowry, 53, of Mentone, Ind., died Tuesday, Dec. 4, 2012, at his residence.
He was born Aug. 26, 1959, in Kosciusko County, Ind., to Harold and June (Baker) Lowry. He was employed by Spartech of Warsaw, Ind., for 10 years and prior to that he worked for Warsaw Plating Works for many years.
David was a Tippecanoe Valley High School graduate. He loved hunting and cutting wood. He also enjoyed fishing and taking things apart and putting them back together.
He is survived by a daughter: Samantha Ferrill, Loveland, Colo.; three sisters: Wilma Ritter, Akron, Ind.; Sandra Snell, Winona Lake, Ind.; and Karen Lewis, Burket, Ind.; two brothers: Allen Lowry, Warsaw, Ind.; and Rick Lowry, Goshen, Ind.; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by a son: Nicholas D. Lowry; two sisters: Patricia Stambaugh and Darlene Moore; and his parents: Harold and June Lowry.
Visitation will be from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. Friday, Dec. 7, at King Memorial Home, 101 N. Tucker St., Mentone. A private family service with internment will take place at a later date. Burial will be in Harrison Center Cemetery, Etna Green, Ind.
