Packard Powers Frosh Tigers
MISHAWAKA – A strong start carried the undefeated Warsaw boys freshman basketball team to a 42-34 victory at Mishawaka Monday night.
The Tigers jumped to a 10-2 lead to open the game and led 22-12 at halftime.
Tyler Packard paced Warsaw, now 3-0 on the season, with 16 points.
Luke Wilson scored 12 points, while Ben Linky netted eight and Riley Rhoades added six for the winners.
Warsaw hosts Plymouth Thursday in the Career Center Gym at WCHS. The game is scheduled to tip-off at 7:15 p.m., following the girls freshman game versus Plymouth which begins at 6 p.m.
