Accident
Officers of the Milford Police Department recently investigated the following accident:
- Monday, 8:40 p.m. South Higbee Street, Milford. Driver: Christopher Chaney, 36, South Bend. Chaney was southbound in a semitrailer when he lost control rounding the curves, and stated his brakes failed. He hit the guardrail and fence at 615 S. Higbee. Damages: up to $10,000
Syracuse Police Department
Officers of the Syracuse Police Department recently investigated the following accidents:
- Sunday, 9:22 a.m. East Bowser Road, east of South Huntington Street. Drivers: Linda E. Jones, 60, South VanHemert Drive, Syracuse; Jennifer K. McDonald, 38, West CR 750 North, Shipshewana; and Eugene A. Bontrager, 34, Pleasant Acres Drive, Nappanee. Jones went to stop but hit the accelerator, striking the back of McDonald’s vehicle which in turn struck the back of Bontrager’s vehicle. Damages: up to $2,500
- Tuesday, Nov. 20, 2:52 p.m. South Huntington Street. Driver: Shelly J. Frailey, 47, East CR 900N, Syracuse. Frailey backed into a parked vehicle registered to Kendra A. Rodriguez, Bliane Street, North Webster. Damages: up to $2,500
Incidents
Officers of the Syracuse Police Department recently investigated the following incidents:
- Saturday, 11:39 p.m. Sarah Semones, East Palm Drive, Syracuse, reported someone used green spray pain on her vehicle while parked at her residence.
- Saturday, 9:58 a.m. Marcia A. Corl, South Huntington Street, Syracuse, reported her vehicle was sprayed with orange spray paint while parked at an East Main Street location.
- Friday Nov. 16, 11:30 a.m. Officials with BGM Ventures, East Palm Drive, Syracuse, reported one of the apartments damaged.
