The annual public consignment toy sale has been set and event organizers are asking for good quality used or new toys and other kid-friendly items.
Organizers request toys in good shape be dropped off between 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Monday through Thursday, Dec 10-13, and 9 a.m. to 10 a.m. on Friday, Dec. 14. The toys will be priced and donors will receive 50 percent of the sale price.
The annual toy consignment sale will then be held from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 15, and from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Sunday, Dec 16, at the Kosciusko County Fairgrounds.
The remaining 50 percent raised by the fundraiser will purchase new toys to be donated to Combined Community Services’ toy give-away Tuesday and Wednesday, Dec. 18 and 19.
Monetary and new toy donations as well as Bibles will be gladly accepted as they will be handed out to families attending. Items of particular interest that pertain to children that will be accepted are books, games, puzzles, furniture, big toys, outside toys, DVDs, videos, and even hats, boots, mittens and gloves.
