Open House At Baker Youth Club
The Baker Youth Club will be hosting an open house from 4:30 p.m. until 6:30 p.m., Tuesday, Dec. 4, at its location in Warsaw. The open house will allow the community a chance to meet Robert “Coach” Lichtenwalter, visit students and to see how the club continues to benefit the Warsaw area.
Serving Warsaw kids since 1926, the Baker Youth Club now has six satellite locations and saw enrollment grow 600 percent last year alone. The club helps students with homework, tutors them and keeps them physically active.
While at the club’s nightly program, students are given a snack and a full meal free of charge. In the month of October, Baker Youth Club fed nearly 6,000 meals.
The open house will showcase the impact Baker Youth Club has on the students at little or no cost to the families. Anyone with more information on the club can call the Warsaw BYC at (574) 267-8771 or visit them at bakeryouthclub.com.
