Short-Cut Soups will be the topic for the Milford Public Library’s nutrition program coming up at 6:30 p.m. Monday, Nov. 26. There will be samples and recipes to take home. There will also be a door prize drawing. Sign-up at the adult desk.
Tapping/EFT Class
Angie Hernandez will be presenting a class in Emotional Freedom Technique or Meridian Tapping at 6 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 29. Guests will experience EFT in a safe group setting and learn the basic tapping techniques for personal use.
Afternoon Knitting
Bring your knitting project and come to the Afternoon Knitting Club, 1:30 p.m. until 3:30 p.m. Friday, Nov. 30.
Scrapbooking Club
If you have a scrapbooking project that needs done by Christmas, come to the Milford Library at 6:30 p.m. Monday, Dec. 3. The group would love to help you finish your last minute Christmas scrapbooks!
Library Endowment Fund
Looking for an end-of-the-year tax deduction? Please keep the library’s Endowment Fund in mind. The Endowment Fund is managed by the Kosciusko County Community Foundation it is hoped that the fund will grow so the interest earned will keep the library open for years to come. Preparing for the Holidays
Remember to stop at the library and check out the Christmas collection of great holiday stories, recipes, movies and music to get in the holiday spirit. The library maintains classic movies like, It’s a Wonderful Life and Miracle on 34th Street.
Listen to Merry Christmas, Baby by Rod Stewart or On this Winter’s Night, by Lady Antebellum, just two of the newest releases available.
Check out these new adult fiction titles, James Patterson’s newest, Merry Christmas, Alex Cross; Christmas Garland, by Anne Perry and The Christmas Pony, by Melody Carlson. The library also has lots of inspiring books filled with recipes, crafts and gift ideas.
The children’s department has many fun books available to entertain over the holidays, Pete the Cat Saves Christmas, by Eric Litwin and A Christmas Cookbook: Simple Recipes for Kids, by Sarah L. Schuette.
New music CDs are available too: Merry Nickmas, and Kidz Bop Christmas.
