Incidents
Officers of the Warsaw Police Department have recently investigated the following incidents:
- Nov. 15, 5 p.m. Superior Auto reported a lost license plate at 315 Enterprise Dr.
- Nov. 16, 1:50 p.m. Jeremy Flores reported theft from a motor vehicle at 401 Argonne Rd.
- Nov. 16, 9:50 a.m. Michael Dominy reported theft of a bicycle from his apartment at 3100 Frontage Rd.
- Nov. 17, 11:55 p.m. Eric Sasso reported criminal mischief when his man punched our the front window of his residence at 411 W. Pike St.
- Nov. 18, 2:22 a.m. Officers discovered an individual operating while intoxicated at 839 N. Lake St. and Osborn St.
Accidents
Officers of the Warsaw Police Department have recently investigated the following traffic accidents:
- Sunday, Nov. 18, 2:54 a.m. US 30. Driver: Nyan Aung, 47, 201 W. Pleasant St., Churubusco. A deer ran into the roadway and collided with the vehicle. Damages: up to $5,000
- Sunday, Nov. 18, 4:39 p.m. Patterson Road. Racquel Hoover, 17, 836 Lydia Dr., Warsaw; and Tracy Ferguson, 44, 1230 N. 400 East, Warsaw. Hoover pulled out into oncoming traffic and collided with Ferguson. Damages: up to $10,000
- Friday, Nov. 16, 4:50 a.m. US 30 East. Driver: Mihail Georgeiv, 30, 977 Charela Ln. 316, Elk Grove Village, Ill. A deer collided with Georgeiv’s vehicle in the roadway. Damages: up to $10,000
- Friday, Nov. 16, 10:39 a.m. 505 Circle Dr. Driver: Kelvin Wilson, 44, 4107 James Lovelace Rd., Shelby, N.C. Wilson was turning around and caught a phone line on his trailor, snapping the pole. Damages: up to $1,000
- Saturday, Nov. 17, 4:03 a.m. Lake city Highway. Driver: Juli Hoffman, 21, 4022 Westbury Dr., Fort Wayne. A deer struck the vehicle, causing it to hit the guard rail. Damages: up to $5,000
