Syracuse Public Library News
Now through Dec. 15, you can pay down your library fines with non-perishable food items, household items and personal care items brought to the Syracuse Public Library. All items will be donated to the Syracuse Food Pantry.
Items will be assigned a $1 or $2 value and will be applied to your overdue fees. Ask for a list of the most-needed items at the adult circulation desk.
Food for Fines cannot be used to pay for lost or damaged items. Dented or expired product will not be accepted. Please call the library with any questions.
Storytime
Children’s Storytime is at 10:30 a.m. Mondays and Tuesdays. You can come on either day for stories, songs, play and fun. Please call the children’s department with any questions.
Young Adult Book Club
The Young Adult Book Club will meet at 5 p.m Tuesday, Dec. 4, to discuss the new young adult books. Middle school and high school aged teens welcome.
Closed Thanksgiving
The Syracuse Library will be closed on Thursday, Nov. 22, in observance of Thanksgiving. The library reopens at 10 a.m. on Friday, Nov. 23.
