She was born April 16, 1924, in Warsaw to Earl R. and Glade (Entsminger) Snyder. She married Raymond J. Julian on Sept. 27, 1941, in Warsaw.
She was a homemaker and a giving person, always focused on her family.
Ruth is survived by two sons: Terry (Lucinda “Cinda”) Julian, Etna Green, Ind.; and Max (Evelyn) Julian, Warsaw; six grandchildren: Dawn (Shawn) Morton, Nan Sturgess (Shawn Hapner, friend), Nicki (Tony) Palmer, Cord (Lisa) Julian, Chandra (Steve) Damon and Jason (Terra) Julian; 15 great-grandchildren: Matthew Morton (Tara Sanders, friend), Caitlin (Vince) Yoder, Zack (Michelle) Morton Connor Julian, Nate (Haley) Morton Kristen Damon, RaeAnn Wallen Benjamin Damon, Donnie (Courtney) Wallen Raven Julian, Colton Wallen (Cierra Wilson, friend) Hunter Julian, Brittany Sherman Griffen Julian and Hannah Sherman; 10 great-great-grandchildren: Liam, Madison, Bryce, Makenzey, Bria, Kylie, Brayden, Braxton, Allison and a baby boy (February 2013); a twin sister: Ruby Rapp, Leesburg, Ind.; a brother-in-law: Harold Julian, Warsaw; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband: Raymond J. Julian; and three brothers: Dewey Snyder, Donald Snyder and Harold Snyder.
Visitation will be from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. Friday, Nov. 9, at Titus Funeral Home, Warsaw. A service will be held at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 10, at the funeral home with Rev. Terry Bradford, First Freewill Baptist Church of Kosciusko County, Claypool, Ind. Burial will be at Oakwood Cemetery, Warsaw.
