Syracuse Boil Order Issued
The town of Syracuse is issuing a boil order for Wednesday, Nov. 7. The boil order is necessary while construction of water mains takes place.
Water service will be interrupted from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Then, beginning at 1 p.m., the boil order will be in affect for those in the area north of High Street and west of SR 13. The order will remain active until further notice.
Because of the construction, the state requires precautionary measures be taken before use. Water should be boiled for a minimum of 5 minutes before consumption and /or full body contact.
Upon receipt of acceptable laboratory results, the water department will lift the boil order and that will be noted here on StaceyPageOnline.com. Syracuse residents in the affected area are asked to continue to boil water until that time.
