Accidents
Officers of the Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Department recently investigated the following accidents:
- Saturday, Nov. 3, 6:44 a.m. EMS C24 Lane, Warsaw. Driver: Amy E. Muncy, 48, EMS C24 Lane, Warsaw. Driver struck a deer. Damages: up to $2,500
- Saturday, Nov. 3, 9:15 a.m. SR 25, Mentone. Driver: Linda P. Sumpter, 56, Pam Street, Warsaw. Driver struck a deer. Damages: up to $5,000
- Friday, Nov. 2, 6:52 p.m. West 900 North, Milford. Driver: Angil M. Mansfield, 30, East Levi Lee Road, Warsaw. Driver struck a deer. Damages: up to $5,000
- Thursday, Nov. 1, 7:35 a.m. South SR 13, Sidney. Driver: Sharon F. Rogers, 58, North Lagro Road, Marion. Driver struck a deer. Damages: up to $5,000
- Thursday, Nov. 1, 10:17 a.m. South SR 25, Warsaw. Driver: Terek S. Pelo, 20, South 700 West, Mentone. Pelo said he fell asleep while driving causing his vehicle to run off the west of the SR 25, travel down a steep ditch and strike a tree. Damages: up to $5,000
- Thursday, Nov. 1, 10:20 a.m. North Scott Street and East Center Street, Warsaw. Drivers: Brianna Hershberger, 24, West Harrison Street, Mentone; and Richard C. Webb, 77, Mentone. Hershberger failed to see Webb slowing to make a left hand turn from Center Street to Scott Street and struck his vehicle in the rear. Damages: up to $10,000
- Thursday, Nov. 1, 8:50 p.m. East 500 North, Leesburg. Driver: David D. Arnold, 61, North 300 East, Leesburg. Driver struck a deer. Damages: up to $2,500
Incidents
Officers of the Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Department recently investigated the following incidents:
- Nov. 3, 12:28 a.m. Laci Harper of Burket reported someone broke a window.
- Nov. 2, 8 a.m. David Erklin of Warsaw reported the theft of $62 in gasoline from his vehicle.
- Nov. 2, 12:30 a.m. Etna Green Mini Mart reported the theft of gasoline. The driver of a tan Ford Explorer drove off without paying for the gas.
