Keith L. Evans, 79, of Warsaw, Ind., died at 11:30 a.m. Thursday, Nov. 1, 2012, in Mason Health and Rehabilitation Center, Warsaw.
He was born April 24, 1933, in Kosciusko County to Lawrence and Ellen (Bartholomew) Evans. He graduated from Claypool in 1951 and served in the United States Army/Air Force until he was honorably discharged on June 23, 1953. On Nov. 23, 1952, he married Bonnie in Claypool.
Keith was a machinist for Zimmer Inc. for 10 years and owned and operated Evans Plastic for 30 years, retiring in 2002. He was a member of American Legion Post #49 and Warsaw Moose Lodge #560.
He is survived by his wife: Bonnie J. Evans, Warsaw; two daughters: Rhonda (Rick) McConnell, Oceanside, Calif.; Vicky (Tom) Hurt, Oceanside, Calif.; four grandchildren: Jobi (Matt) Roark, Erlanger, Ky.; John Jacop (Katie) Lucas, Indianapolis; Shawna (Billy) Yates, Mentone, Ind.; Alex Hurt, Warsaw; six great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Burial will take place at a later date.
