WCN Seeking Donations To Help Hurricane Victims
World Compassion Network in Warsaw is working with churches out east to serve as a disaster relief center to help those affected by Hurricane Sandy.
WCN is reporting that roads out east are still closed, power is out and communication with possible distribution centers is very difficult. Search and rescue efforts are also now underway, but very soon the people on the East coast will be in relief mode and WCN’s goal is to help in the relief efforts.
WCN is planning to deliver a semi load of non-perishable food, water, Gatorade and cleaning supplies. But to do so, WCN is in need of donations and funding to purchase more cleaning supplies and food.
The public can donate by clicking on the WCN link or by sending checks made out to WCN, P.O. Box 1152, Warsaw, IN 46581. Donations may also be dropped off at 795 W. 400 N., Warsaw.
