Timothy K. ‘Tim’ Meck
Timothy K. “Tim” Meck, 62, of Leesburg, Ind., passed away on Saturday, Oct. 27, 2012.
Tim was born on Aug. 20, 1950, in Warsaw, Ind., to Earl S. and Dorothy E. (Bogart) Meck. Born and raised in Kosciusko County, Tim graduated from Warsaw High School in 1968. He was a truck driver for Polk and Sons for many years before becoming a self employed mechanic.
Tim enjoyed studying the history of Kosciusko County, mathematics and studying Hydrogen. He was a self taught mechanic and enjoyed tinkering on things, eventually achieving the goal of having an engine run on Hydrogen. Tim loved Mack trucks, the outdoors, gardening and mushroom hunting.
Tim is survived by his mother: Dorothy, Warsaw; four siblings: Pat (Peggy) Meck, Pierceton, Ind.; Allen (Chris) Meck, Pierceton; Cheryl (Jim) Moneyheffer, Leesburg; Darrell (companion Lu Ann) Meck, Leesburg; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his father: Earl Meck.
Visitation will be from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 1, at Mishler Funeral Home, Milford. Services will be at 7 p.m. Thursday in the funeral home with Pastor Josh Weiland officiating.
