Charity Skydive Event Is Saturday!
I’m happy to announce that approximately a dozen people have agreed to make the grand jump with me tomorrow!
As you know, I’m skydiving for the first time in my life – and surely the last – on Saturday morning. The purpose of the jump is to raise money and awareness for the Combined Community Services Food Pantry.
Those taking part in the skydive event — or anyone who just wants to come out and watch the fun and take part in other events going on at the Goshen Airport — should arrive at 9 a.m. The skydives will begin taking place at about 11 a.m. after everyone taking the plunge gets some necessary instruction from the jump masters.
There is still time to donate to the cause by clicking HERE and helping the CCS Food Pantry, which helps more than 500 Kosciusko County families every month!
The event is being made possible by Skydive Great Lakes, which has generously agreed to offer a deeply discounted price for those mentioning Stacey Page Online. The fee for a tandem jump will be $185, with $20 of that going toward the CCS Food Pantry.
This will be my last entry before the event. I hope to see LOTS of people coming out to show their support and even take part in the skydiving. Skydive Great Lakes is hosting a chili cook off to keep everyone warm, and they will be grilling for those attending.
I hope to see you all there … but mostly I hope to land safely!
