Public To Hear Bike+Walk Master Plan
The city of Warsaw and town of Winona Lake will host a second public meeting for the development of a Bicycle and Pedestrian Master Plan on Thursday, Oct. 25. The meeting will be held from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the Winona Lake Senior Center, 1590 Park Ave.
The meeting will provide an opportunity for the public to review and comment on the preliminary recommendations of the master plan. The plan is being developed to increase bicycle and pedestrian activity and safety, as well as to increase facilities in the two municipalities.
The meeting will begin at 6 p.m. with an informal review of materials. A presentation outlining the proposed recommendations will begin at 6:15 p.m. Following the presentation, a series of stations will be available to provide information and solicit community input. Community input from this meeting will be vital in developing the final stages of the plan.
