She was born Feb. 10, 1916, in Nappanee to Lon and Valley (Hollar) Geyer.
She was a 1939 graduate of Nappanee High School. She married George Brenneman in 1979. He preceded her in death in 1985. Miriam had been a switch board operator and was a receptionist for many years at Miles Laboratory until her retirement. She enjoyed singing at Billie Sunday Services in Winona for many years. She was a member of Nappanee Church of the Brethren, the Nappanee American Legion Auxiliary and War Mothers.
Surviving are sons: Pat (Ronda) Neibert, Milford, Ind.; Jerry (Nancy) Neibert, Syracuse, Ind.; a daughter: Susan (Albert) Wimmer, Syracuse, Ind.; grandchildren: Mark Neibert, Tina Drexler; and great-grandchildren: Chelsie and Trey Neibert.
She was preceded in death by a brother: Harold Geyer; and a sister: Isobel Mattingly.
Family and friends may call from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m., Tuesday, Oct. 23, at Thompson-Lengacher & Yoder Funeral Home, Nappanee, where funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday, Oct. 24. Burial will be in Union Center Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be given to the Elder Haus in Nappanee.
