Food Drive For Fellowship Missions
From 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 20, Fellowship Missions will have representatives at both Owens locations in Warsaw collecting food and donations for its missions.
Fellowship Missions is a not-for-profit homeless shelter in Warsaw that averages 29 guests a night. They have housed over 275 adults and 50 children since the shelters opened in 2010.
Each guest must partake in a series of life-changing steps including but not limited to: 25 hours of community volunteer time, weekly one-on-one mentor counseling, education, and as-needed training in life skills. Fellowship Missions believes that meeting the physical needs of the guests while spreading the love of Jesus Christ will help the guests move on to be independent productive members in our community.
The food and donations received tomorrow will be used to support the guests, as well as support others in the community who need the aid.
