Eileen L. Niehaus
Eileen L. Niehaus, 85, of Kosciusko County, Ind., passed away at 9 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 17, 2012, in the home of her daughter.
She was born May 31, 1927, Goshen, Ind., to Orlie Gibson and Esther (Yoder) Gibson. She graduated from Millersburg High School in Millersburg, Ind., in 1946.
She married Carl Klotz on June 6, 1949, in Millersburg. He died in 1970 and she married Leon Niehaus, Oct. 10, 1980, in Leesburg, Ind. She lived most of her life in Kosciusko County.
She was a secretary for Hand Industries for 16 years and also worked the farm with her husband, Carl. She was a member of Etna Green Neighborhood Club, involved in the church choir in Florida, and attended Warsaw Community Church, loved to line dance, bowl and go for walks
She is survived by five sons: Stanley (Patti) Klotz, Bremen, Ind.; Denny (Mindy) Klotz, Warsaw, Ind.; Lynn Klotz, Warsaw; Brian Klotz, Burke, Va.; Rick (Dina) Klotz, Warsaw; two daughters: Debra (Gary) Smalley, Silver Lake, Ind.; Bonnie (Mark) Koomler, Syracuse, Ind.; a sister: Geri (Sheldon) McClain, Syracuse; 27 grandchildren; and 18 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her first and second husbands; a brother: Raymond Gibson; and a granddaughter: Carlee Klotz.
Visitation will be from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. Friday, Oct. 19, at Titus Funeral Home, Warsaw. Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 20, at the funeral home with Pastor Jeff Pfeiffer of Warsaw Community Church. Burial will follow in Etna Green Cemetery, Etna Green, Ind.
