Nancy Lee Paseka
Nancy Lee Paseka, 73, of Warsaw, Ind., passed away at 6:30 p.m. Saturday Oct. 13, 2012, in Kosciusko Community Hospital Warsaw.
She was born May 25, 1939, in Warsaw to George Paul and Mary Mabel (Long) Garber. She was lifetime resident of Warsaw.
She was united in marriage to Phillip Paseka Sr. on July 4, 1959, who preceded her June 7, 1979, and later married Jack Smythe who survives. She retired from Dalton Foundry after a career as core finisher.
She was a member of the American Legion Auxiliary Post #49 Warsaw and Women of the Moose Warsaw. Nancy enjoyed puzzles, playing bingo and spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.
She is survived by daughters: Melody (Stephen) Skees, Atwood, Ind.; and Kimberly Griffith, Atwood; sons: Phillip (Deborah) Paseka Jr., Warsaw; Rodger (Cindy) Paseka, Warsaw; and John (Bev) Paseka, Warsaw; sisters: Ginny Shilling, Warsaw; and Jo (Larry) Clark, Warsaw; brothers: George Paul Garber III, North Manchester, Ind.; and Dave (Carol) Garber, Warsaw; 13 grandchildren and 22 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her first husband; four sisters: Emma Jane Atchison, Georgia Brindle, Mary Louise Rowland, Lois Van Dyke; and two brothers: Gerald and Frank Garber.
Visitation will be from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 16, at McHatton-Sadler Funeral Chapel, Warsaw. Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday, Oct. 17, in the funeral home with Pastor Mike Hontz officiating. Interment will be in Oakwood Cemetery Warsaw.
