A Warsaw man was being sought at his last known address in the Eastgate Apartments complex just before 4 p.m. today after he walked away from the Whitley County Jail.

Marcus M. Green, 31, 530 Clinic Ct., Warsaw, was last seen by Whitley County authorities at 2 p.m. today leaving the Whitley County Jail and getting into a 1997 maroon GMC extended cab truck driven by a black female. Authorities said there was also a second subject in the truck, but no description was provided.

Green was supposed to report to the Whitley County Work Release Center but never arrived. He is serving a sentence for probation violation.

Warsaw Police were issued an attempt to locate and went to Green’s last known address at 530 Clinic Ct., but were not able to find him.

Green is described as a black male, 5 feet 8 inches tall and 160 pounds. He was last seen wearing blue jean shorts and a white T-shirt.
