Mentone Man Facing 19 Deception Charges
According to Kosciusko County court records, Shepherd has been wanted in Kosciusko County on warrants for the Class A misdemeanors since 2001.
The warrants were originally filed in 2001 by the Kosciusko County Prosecutor’s Office for a total of $3,805.
Shepherd posted bond in Kosciusko County, but was then taken into custody by the Whitley County Sheriff’s Department on another outstanding warrant for a Class A misdemeanor check deception charge.
According to court records, Shepherd also has warrants out of Fulton County, also for a Class A misdemeanor check deception charge; and Carroll County where he faces two Class A misdemeanor check deception charges.
In Kosciusko County, Shepherd’s bond was set at $7,600.
