Pet of the Week
This is gorgeous happy go lucky Charlie Boy.
This little man is pretty much blind (cataracts), but you wouldn’t know it. He goes inside and outside with ease, up and down the stairs with no problem. He will observe puppy play time at his foster family’s home – but rarely takes part.
He loves his foster family and wants to be wherever they are. They forget that he is blind!
Constant supervision is key for this young (6-8 years old) man while he is outside. Otherwise, he does fine on his own in the house – although he always prefers to be with his people.
Charlie is heartworm positive and is currently going through treatment and doing very well. ODTR is committed to continuing his treatment even AFTER adoption if necessary. This special little guy would love a patient family of his very own. Please consider Charlie Boy if you are looking for a low maintenance snuggle bug. Charlie is a Silkie terrier and has never had life so good… and it just keeps getting better!!!
Charlie is available through One Dog At A Time Rescue. For additional information on her, contact One Dog At A Time Rescue.
All Kosciusko County nonprofit animal rescue groups are invited to use our Pet of the Week feature to help animals find homes. Please send photos, information on the animals, and all adoption information – such as pricing, what the fee includes, and how to contact someone about the animal – to [email protected] and we will happily feature the animal(s).
