UPDATE: Man Injured In Fall
Police officers, Leesburg Fire and Multi-Township EMS personnel were called to Levi Lee Road Wednesday night where a man was reportedly injured from a fall from a bucket truck.
The man was said to be working for a tree service when he fell approximately 20 feet from the bucket to the pavement. The accident happened at about 7:20 p.m.
Samaritan air ambulance was called and airlifted the patient, said to be a 40-year-old man, to Parkview Hospital with an open fractured right femur and possible internal bleeding.
Sgt. Chad Hill of the Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Department this morning said officers do not complete an accident report related to personal injury accidents unless it involves a vehicular crash.
HIPAA laws prevent agencies from providing victim identification.
