Aspiring musicians in the 6th grade at Warsaw Community Schools who have not yet registered for band and orchestra for this year can still register at their schools.

Band classes meet at Edgewood Middle School from 7:40 a.m. to 8:40 a.m. Orchestra classes meet at Lakeview Middle School from 7:40 a.m. to 8:40 a.m. Both classes offer bus transportation to class and then to students’ elementary schools afterward. Here is a breakdown of the class schedules, based on schools and instrument section:

Band (at Edgewood Middle School):
All elementary schools:

• Woodwinds (flute, clarinet and saxophone)- Tuesday, Thursday and Friday.
• Brass (trumpet, french horn, trombone and baritone)- Monday, Wednesday and Friday.
• Percussion- Monday, Wednesday and Friday.

Orchestra (at Lakeview Middle School):
Students from Claypool, Madson and Washington:

• Upper Strings (violin and viola)- Monday and Thursday
• Lower Strings (cello and bass)- Wednesday and Thursday

Students from Harrison, Jefferson, Leesburg and Lincoln:

• Upper Strings (violin and viola)- Tuesday and Friday
• Lower Strings (cello and bass)- Wednesday and Friday
