Richard ‘Rick’ Svinarich
Richard “Rick” Svinarich, 50, of Warsaw, Ind., passed away at 3:45 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 15, at Mason Health and Rehabilitation Center, Warsaw.
He was born March 4, 1962, in Columbus, Ohio, to John and Catherine (Evans) Svinarich. He graduated from Warsaw Community High School in 1980 and married Lori Meck on May 24, 2003, in Marathon Key, Fla.
Rick worked in maintenance for Paragon Medical Inc., Pierceton, Ind., was a 1989 graduate of ITT where he earned an Associate of Applied Services Degree in Electrical Engineering. He enjoyed golf, water sports and most of all time with his sons.
He is survived by his wife: Lori Svinarich, Warsaw; two sons: John and Logan, Svinarich, both of Warsaw; his mother: Kayte Svinarich, Warsaw; and three brothers: John (Beth) Svinarich, Denver, Colo.; Michael (Carol) Svinarich, Albuquerque, N.M.; and Robert Svinarich, Warsaw.
He was preceded in death by his father: John Svinarich.
Visitation will be from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 19, at Titus Funeral Home, Warsaw. A Rosary will be said at 7:30 p.m. Wednesday in the funeral home, and services will be at 10:30 a.m. Thursday, Sept. 20, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Warsaw., with Father Philip DeVolder. Burial will follow in Oakwood Cemetery, Warsaw.
