WALKERTON – The John Glenn running game was in high gear Friday night.
The host Falcons rushed for 294 yards in topping Triton 39-7 in a Northern State Conference contest.
Glenn out gained the Trojans 397-130 in total yard to improve to 3-2 overall on the season. Triton drops to 0-5 overall and 0-3 in league play.
Glenn led 19-0 at halftime and 32-0 after three quarter en route to the win.
Derek Hiler tallied 101 yards on 23 carries and scored three touchdowns to lead the ground game for the Falcons. Zach Combes had 15 carries for 104 yards. Quarterback Kyle Liedtky threw three touchdown passes for Glenn.
Cody Shively scored on a one-yard run for Triton in the fourth quarter. Bryson Mosier rushed for a team-high 66 yards on 10 carries for the Trojans.
Triton hosts NSC foe New Prairie next Friday night.
