Incidents
Officers of the North Webster Police Department recently investigated the following incidents:
- Saturday, Sept. 8, 10:58 p.m. North Blaine Street and Crystal Flash Road. Officer observed a speeding vehicle and initiated a traffic stop. The driver of the vehicle had a licence suspended-prior. Driver was cited and given a court date. No name or identifying details given.
- Thursday, Sept. 6, 1:15 a.m. South Main St. Juvenile left wallet at address and found money missing from it.
- Wednesday, Sept. 5, 11:55 a.m. town park, South Dixie Drive. Christle Rubio, East Madison Street, reported her wallet taken from vehicle while she was at the park.
- Wednesday, Sept. 5, 8:30 a.m. South Main Street. David Hartup, West Walnut Street, Pierceton, reported a stolen wallet while he was at Freedom Express.
- Friday, Aug. 31, 10 18 p.m. Backwater Road and North 850E. A driver was stopped and issued a warning for improper headlight. Driver had never been licensed and was cited for operating without a license and given a court date to appear. Passenger was cited for permitting unlicensed person to drive. No names or identifying details given.
- Friday, Aug. 31, 6:69 a.m. SR 13 and North 800E. Gary Trimble, Kaibab Trail, Fort Wayne, had a flat tire so he left his boat for a short time. While he was away, items were removed from the boat.
- Friday, Aug. 31, 1 a.m. Crystal Flash Road. Two female juveniles had an argument where one pushed the other to the ground and kicked her in the stomach.
- Thursday, Aug. 30, 11:44 a.m. Unknown location. Cindy Harris, North Main Street, reported debit-credit card stolen and used to purchase items.
- Wednesday, Aug. 29, 3:30 p.m. South Main and Effie Mae streets. Officer observed a suspended-prior driver operating a vehicle. Driver was cited for violation and given a court date to appear. No name or identifying details given.
Accidents
Officers of the North Webster Police Department recently investigated the following accidents:
- Saturday, Sept. 1, 4:54 p.m. East 500N. Vehicles driven by Matthew S. Isaacs, Franklin Street, Derry, N.H. and Joseph T. Feldman, North Center Street Extension, collided. No ages or amount of damages given.
- Friday, Aug. 31, 10:10 a.m. Parking lot, North Main Street. A vehicle driven by Frank V. Thompson, Sonewall Run, Fort Wayne, collided with a parked vehicle belonging to Roxanna Carr, no address given. No ages or amount of damages given.
- Tuesday, Aug. 28, 5:28 p.m. South Main Street. A vehicle driven by Royce E. Beeson, First Street, collided with a parked vehicle belonging to Barbara Huffman, no address given. No ages or amount of damages given.
Arrests
Officers of the North Webster Police Department recently made the following arrests:

- Monday, Sept. 3, 11:19 p.m. Linda Lane. A vehicle was stopped for a traffic stop. The driver and one passenger fled. The passenger was located by the Warsaw Police Department K-9 Unit. Jacob B. Honea, 18, North SR 13, Leesburg and Brody Jordan, 19, Hatchery Road, Syracuse, were arrested. Honea was charged with fleeing law enforcement and illegal consumption by a minor. Jordan was charged with illegal consumption by a minor. Felony and misdemeanor charges will be requested for the driver. Both subjects were taken to Kosciusko County Jail, Warsaw. Assistance provided by Kosciusko County Sheriff Department, Syracuse Police Department, Warsaw Police Department and Indiana State Police.
- Wednesday, Aug. 29, 11:59 p.m. South Blaine Street and Tanya Drive. James M. Heath, 21, Hickory Street, was stopped and written a warning for exceeding the posted speed. He was found to be intoxicated and arrested for OWI. He was taken to the jail.
